Watchdog Pool Safety

Anchor Components

Our Katchakid® pool nets are secured to the swimming pool surround by attaching the fasteners into a series of anchors placed approximately 30in apart around the pools edge typically about 10 inches from the waters edge.

We offer offers three anchor options;
Adjustable surface mounted high-density nylon EZ-Plates available in Cream, Gray or Terracotta (red/orange).
Counter sunk durable high-density nylon anchors available in Cream, Gray or Terracotta (red/orange).
Counter sunk high quality brass anchors for an exclusive look.

In certain pool decking it might be required to epoxy or cement flush mounted anchors. All of Katchakid’s anchors are feet friendly and specifically designed to be not noticeable.

Our Katchakid pool net anchors can be installed on most copings, decks and pool surrounds such as –

  • Pea Gravel (aggregate)
  • Concrete
  • Aluminum
  • Wood
  • Brick
  • Tile
  • Natural Rock
  • Coping

EZ-PLATES

Adjustable surface mounted, high-density nylon EZ-Plates available in Cream, Terracotta (red/orange) and Gray. The EZ-Plates are secured to the pool surround by two patented stainless steel inserts. The EZ-Plate while not flush with the paving has the added benefit of different tension options.

EZ-Plates would be typically fitted on above ground pools with aluminum sidings or thin wooden decks. EZ-Plates can also be offered as an economical option. For budget options for associations such as the Veterans Association the net can be fitted with plates and no CTS.

NYLON ANCHORS

Counter sunk durable high-density nylon anchors available in Terracotta (red/orange), Gray or Cream.

Using a diamond tipped cord drill a ¾”in hole is made into the pool surround and the counter sunk anchor is inserted.

BRASS ANCHORS

At the top of the Katchakid anchor range is our high quality brass anchor. When acid washed, the counter sunk Katchakid brass anchor matches the color of flagstone, pebble and pea gravel deck so the anchor itself is almost inconspicuous.
